Sonic Forces Story Trailer

Sonic The Hedgehog is back with an awesome new adventure for consoles and PC. In Sonic Forces he and his friends must save the world from Eggman or Robotnic (as we in the states know him) and his army of evil robots. To be honest I am actually really glad to see Sega putting out a good looking Sonic game that looks exciting and somewhat reminiscent of the games for the original Genesis. Based on this trailer the story seems to be fairly compelling and the game play looks to be pretty fast paced as well as diverse. Not only does it look like a classic Sonic game, but it also has some visual elements of the Ratchet and Clank games. This might be the first Sonic game that I actually purchase in years.

Brutal Punisher Promo Video

One of the best things to come out of the many Marvel series on Netflix was of course The Punisher played by Jon Bernthal. He debuted in season 2 of DareDevil and is now getting his own stand alone series set to premier sometime later this year. We were already treated with a pretty intense teaser that was released back in August and if you missed that then just click here to check it out. Well today Marvel released a short promotional video for the new Punisher series and it already looks pretty brutal. People should know by now that you don’t mess with Frank Castle or you’re gonna end up on the wrong side of an ass whoopin….or worse.

TBT: Do You Remember “Event Horizon”

Right now the biggest movie in the country is a horror movie that just so happens to be a remake of a classic 80s movie. Of course I am talking about the movie IT and though it scared me as a kid, there is a different movie that I want to talk about today that scared and intrigued me even more than that one. I’m talking about the 90s sci-fi horror film called Event Horizon. For those of you that have never scene the movie I highly recommend that you check it out especially if you like science fiction, intriguing story lines, mystery, and lots of gore. In my humble opinion this is definitely a must watch for any horror fan or science fiction fan for that matter. Just be warned Event Horizon is definitely not for the weak at heart.

NEW Mortal Kombat/Crash Bandicoot POPS

Time to make some room on your shelves Nerd Nation because some pretty awesome Pop figures, from some very iconic video game franchises will be making their way to stores shortly. Funko announced today on their blog that they will be releasing a line of Pop figures from both the Mortal Kombat and Crash Bndicoot video game series. Personally I think I am more excited for the Mortal Kombat Pops but I will definitely be getting Crash as well. Both figure lines are set to be released in November of this year just in time for the holidays. Below I have posted an image gallery for you viewing pleasure, so be sure to check it out to see all the figures from both Mortal Kombat and Crash Bandicoot.

Rick and Morty Claymations are Awesome!

So I don’t know about you guys but I find that one new episode of Rick and Morty a week is definitely not enough. Unfortunately that is all we get and the worst part, is that we are already more than half way done with the third season. However, there is more Rick and Morty goodness to be had you just have to know where to find it. For example, take these awesome Rick and Morty claymations that have been airing on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. They are short recreations of some classic movies staring clay figures of the Rick and Morty cast, and they actually used the real voice actors from the show.

Amazing “Batman: The Animated Series” Collectible Villain Set

This week one of the most iconic animated series from the 90s turned 25 years old. For those of you that grew up in the 90s you probably loved or at least were familiar with Batman: The Animated Series. For many kids that grew up watching this show Kevin Conroy (Batman) and Mark Hamil (Joker) defined Batman and the Joker for their entire generation. There were so many great story lines, iconic animation, and memorable villains that came out of that series. Well in honor of the show’s 25th anniversary DC Collectibles is releasing the Batman: The Animated Series GCPD Rogues Gallery action figure set. One look at this set and it’s obvious that any fan of the animated series or Batman in general will want to add this to their collection.

Star Wars Short Animations

The Force is strong with these Star Wars animated clips. Sure it’s not the the Last Jedi trailer that we’ve all been anxiously waiting for, but I guess they will have to do for now. Personally I found these animated shorts pretty entertaining. There are several of them in this series titled Star Wars Blips. We have posted the 2 latest ones below. Each clip is under a minute long and feature some pretty good animation with a cleaver little story line to go with it. Check out the 2 Star Wars blips below and as always, let us know what you think of them Nerd Nation. Did you enjoy them and would you like to see more? Be sure to let us know your thoughts on this by leaving them in a comment below, on the Facebook page, or hit us up on the Twitter page @Nerdgasmneeds.

Destiny 2 Live Action Trailer

As the release of Destiny 2 draws ever so near the hype for this game will continue to increase and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Especially because we get more awesome promo videos like this one and more Nathan Fillion, which is never a bad thing. This particular Destiny 2 trailer is a live action version and it looks amazing. I would love to see a Destiny 2 live action TV series or possibly a web series. I definitely think it could fit into the Destiny universe especially with them trying to add more of a story to this new game. One of the biggest criticisms from fans of the original was that it lacked much of a story, and a live action web series could add some more details to a somewhat vague back story.
