Back to the 90s Music Video

I don’t know about you Nerd Nation, but I often find myself wishing I could go back to a simpler time, back when I was a kid and had no cares in the world. I wish I could go back to the 90s. Unfortunately, time travel only exists in the movies but that doesn’t mean that we can’t revisit the 90s. Thanks to Ben Giroux we can do just that by watching this totally awesome music video. There are so many great references made to the 90s that if you grew up then you will mostly likely remember every single one of them. Of course there is a bit of sadness when you think that most, if not all, of these great things we remember from our childhood don’t really exist anymore. However, it’s a great video and definitely worth remembering the 90s on this throwback Thursday.

Judge Dredd TV Series in the Works

Great news Judge Dredd fans, it looks like there is a TV series based on our favorite futuristic law bringer currently in the works. Personally we here at Nerdgasm Needs are huge fans of the 2012 Dredd film and have been eagerly waiting for a sequel. Though this is not a direct sequel to the movie, fans should still be pretty excited about this announcement. Honestly, an on going TV series might actually be a little better avenue for Dredd especially with so much content already written in the comic series. This has the potential to be one of the best comic booked based series on TV if it is done right. Also be sure to check out the official poster below.

The Best Star Wars Movie Lightsaber Battle

The Star Wars franchise has given us one of the best weapons in science fiction and movie history. I am of course talking about none other than the iconic lightsaber. It’s not as clumsy or random as a blaster. It’s an elegant weapon from a more civilized age. We’ve all wished that we could wield a real lightsaber at some point in our lives but unfortunately we’ve had to settle for watching them be used in battle on the big screen. So, in honor of today being May the 4th and Star Wars Day I thought I would share with you what I consider to be the best lightsaber battle in all of Star Wars cinematic history.

Marvel’s The Defenders Official Trailer

The official trailer for the Marvel and Netflix series The Defenders is finally here! It’s been 2 years since the DareDevil series first premiered on Netflix and things haven’t slowed down since. Finally DareDevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist will all team up to save the city and the world. I don’t know about you Nerd Nation but I am more than excited to see the continuation of their story as individuals and to see them fight together as a team. The trailer it’s self is dark and gritty just like most of the individual series have been, so you will feel right at home with it.

Cancelled Star Wars Game Is Now Playable

The Star Wars franchise has given us many memorable games in the past, some that will live on in the hearts of fans for years to come. However, it is also synonymous with having games cancelled before they are ever released to the public. Fans are left with their dreams crushed and only their thoughts about what could have been. One game that was announced and cancelled to the dismay of fans was titled Star Wars: First Assault. It was slated to be a Call of Duty style, first person shooter game that never made it to store shelves. Well thanks to the magic of technology and some savvy  geeks it has now been leaked online and you can actually play the unfinished game.

Halo 3 Room Locked for 10 Years…Until Now

Halo 3 is arguably one of the best games to ever grace the Xbox 360. I for one have very fond memories of playing Halo 3 for endless hours with my friends. In fact, it was the whole reason I bought an Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3 at the time. One of the best parts about the game was the amazing campaign mode that was filled with action mystery, and some hidden secrets. Some of those secrets were meant to be found while others in the game where never meant for fans to see. However, one group of dedicated players spent 10 years trying to get into an area of the map that was blocked but eventually their hard work and tireless efforts paid off.

That Spidey Life Bruno Mars Parody

I don’t think anyone is more excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming than we are here at Nerdgasm Needs. We can’t get enough of the web head and thanks to the Nerdist YouTube channel we have a new song and music video that we are obsessed with. It’s called That Spidey Life and is a parody of Bruno Mars’ That’s What I Like. The song is already super catchy but when you throw the Wall Crawler into the mix, now it’s just on a whole new level of awesomeness. It’s that Spidey life!

Call Of Duty: WWII Official Trailer

So here it is folks! The first official trailer for Call of Duty: WWII is finally here. It has been hyped up a lot lately, but not without some controversy. In fact, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the entire Call of Duty franchise but, this new game seems to be a return to what fans have been wanting for a long time. The last Call of Duty game (Infinite Warfare) was met with a lot of criticism from fans and reviewers alike. Activision has even been accused of being lazy, not listening to the wants of their fans, and copying games like Halo and Titanfall.
