Ewoks Coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2

EA just announced a new game mode coming to Star Wars: Battlefront 2 that will let players relive the battle on the forest moon of Endor. Just like in Return of the Jedi, players will get to choose from Ewoks and Imperial stormtroopers for this specific match up. The new mode is called Ewok Hunt and will be available to play in Battlefront 2 on April 18. It has been a rough beginning for the latest game in the Star Wars Battlefront series but this might just be the thing to bring fans back to the game. The release of Star Wars Battlefront 2 was met with a lot of criticism from players when EA included a terrible loot crate system along with some very “in your face” micro transactions. However, the loot box system has since been removed from the game and micro transactions toned down, leading players to slowly make their way back to Battlefront 2.

Mantis gives his thoughts on Sea of Thieves

So last week we finally saw the release of the much anticipated open world, pirate game, Sea of Thieves. Sea of Thieves is of course a Microsoft exclusive and is developed by the British game developer Rare. It was first announced at E3 2015 and ever since then it has been on my list of games that I have been most excited for. My original plan was to get it on my Xbox One but last year I built myself a pretty sweet gaming PC and decided to get the game for PC instead. The great thing is that this game is cross compatible and I am able to play with my friends on Xbox just as easily as I can with my friends that game on PC. I was so excited for this game to come out, but now that it’s out and I’ve played it for a while, I am feeling a bit underwhelmed.

PS4 Spider-Man Hoodie

So far there has been no official release date given for the much anticipated Spider-Man game coming to the PlayStation 4 this year, but rumor has it that it will be out sometime at the end of June. However that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be excited or try to get your hands on a pretty awesome piece of Spider-Man merch featuring his signature look from the upcoming game. Check out this awesome hoodie with the sick looking white spider across the front and back of it. This new look for the web head is definitely unique and I wasn’t sure I liked it at first, but it definitely started to grow on me. Unfortunately they are only taking pre-orders for this hoodie right now and it won’t be available until June of this year either.

KB Toy Stores Returning

The sad news of Toys “R” Us closing all of it’s stores in North America was just announced last week. Not only do I have some great memories of going to Toys “R” Us as a kid but I also have some amazing memories of going there as an adult with my son. It’s always been a source of fun and excitement in my life and to see it go really does make me sad. However, there is some good news on the horizon for both toy store fans and the 33,000 employees of Toys R Us about to be laid off. Another former toy store giant is planning to make it’s return to North America. KB Toys has been gone for almost 10 year with the last of their stores closing back in 2009. However, plans are currently in the works to open new stores and help out former employees of the closing Toys R Us stores.

Days Gone Delayed Until 2019

One of the most anticipated games of 2018 has been pushed back to next year. The spectacular looking zombie survival game known as Days Gone has officially been delayed until sometime in 2019. Days Gone was first announced at E3 2016 and was recieved by fans with a lot of excitement. OK, the first thing I will say is that if this delay helps bring us a better game then I am all for it. I hate when companies rush a game’s development just to get it out in time to meet their deadline and what we get as a result falls far short of what we were promised. Still I am a little disappointed that after being announced 2 years ago there is still not solid release date in site for this game.

Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2 Announced

Good news for Division fans! Ubisoft has officially announced the development of Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2. Members of the development team announced it on an official Ubisoft live stream and said that a full reveal will be coming this summer at E3 2018. Personally I was a big fan of this game in the beginning but lost interest in it after reaching the first level cap. The announcement comes exactly 2 years to the day after to original Division was launched. Not many details were given about the upcoming sequel except that “some” player progression will be carried over from the original game. An official logo was released on Ubisoft’s own website and we have posted it below for you guys.

Reboot: The Guardian Code Official Trailer

So the reboot of the 1990’s CGI animated series appropriately named “Reboot” is coming to Netflix, and they just dropped the first official trailer for it. The new series is titled Reboot: The Guardian Code and my first impressions of it aren’t very positive. The original series was a ground breaking attempt at bringing an all computer animated TV show to the small screen.  Back in the mid 90s it was revolutionary for it’s time, unfortunately the original series just didn’t age well at all. The new series attempts to bring Reboot into the modern era with updated animation that is still reminiscent of the old show, but this time adding in an element of live action to it. I use to love the old show as a kid but I’m afraid this new one just doesn’t look very good to me.

NEW Changes to COD: WW2

Sledgehammer Games has brought some changes to Call of Duty: WW2 which might make some of you happy but could possibly disappoint others. The update was live as of January 18 so it’s possible that players may not have noticed the changes. Just in case you weren’t sure what updates were made we have listed them below for your viewing pleasure. Also if you are like me and haven’t picked the game up in a while, then these changes might be something to possibly entice you back. These changes come right before the first major DLC drops for Call of Duty: WW2 titled Resistance. Now whether these changes are good or bad is really up to your own personal opinion. Check them out below.
