Cowboy Bebop Live-Action Series

Cowboy Bebop is arguably one of the best anime series to ever be made. The animation was stylized and innovative, the music was unique and emotional, and most of all it got you invested in the characters from the moment we were first introduced to them. In fact, just the other week I actually started the whole series over again from the beginning and re-watched each episode on Hulu. I had forgotten just how good this anime really was and being older I feel that I could truly appreciate it even more. So, just when I started to think that they should really make another series set in the Cowboy Bebop universe we get the news that a live-action Cowboy Bebop series is in the works.

NEW Marvel’s Spider-Man Series Sneak Peek

I don’t know about you Nerd Nation but I just can’t get enough of the web head. Lucky for us Marvel and Disney have released an awesome first look at the brand new Marvel’s Spider-Man animated series coming to Disney XD. Personally I have loved almost every single Spider-Man animated series that has come out, especially the ones from Disney. Spectacular Spider-Man was a great but short lived series and I enjoyed Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man though it focused a little too much on the slap stick comedy for my taste. However, this new Spider-Man series looks like a mix between the two so I definitely have high hopes for it.

Animaniacs Getting Rebooted

Hellooooooo Nurse! I never thought I would live to see the day that the Warner Brothers and their sister would escape their vault for yet another time, but here w are. If you were a kid growing up in the 90s then there was nothing you looked forward to more than coming home from school and tuning in to the crazy adventures of Yako, Wako, and their sister Dot. It’s been almost 20 years since the final episode of the Animaniacs aired and cartoons haven’t been the same since. Well here we are in 2017 and the beloved show from our childhood is looking at getting rebooted and making a comeback to TV.

Star Trek: Discovery Official Trailer

It has been 12 years since the last Star Trek series aired it’s final episode. Personally I think we are long overdue for another series that will explore strange new worlds and new civilizations. Thankfully the wait is almost over as CBS has given us our first look at the brand new series Star Trek: Discovery. This is definitely a new take on the Star Trek universe and it looks to have a very cinematic quality to it. If I didn’t know any better I would think I was watching a trailer for a new Star Trek movie. Visual effects have definitely come a long way since the days of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.

NEW South Park: The Fractured But Whole Trailer

For those of you that have been keeping track of the latest South Park game you are in for a treat. The release date for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been pushed back several times in an effort to insure that Ubisoft is releasing the best version of this game that they possibly can. Finally, 2 years after it was first announced it looks like they are finally giving us a release date and a new trailer to go with it. Honestly, the trailer is hilarious and the game looks like it will be pretty entertaining once we are able to finally get our hands on an actual copy of the game.

The Witcher TV Series to be Produced by Netflix

Great news gaming fans! The Witcher TV series is in the works over at Netflix. According to IGN the streaming giant will be producing a TV series based on The Witcher video games and novels. The Witcher 3 was released in 2015 and was highly praised by fans and critics. 2 Years later it still stands as one of the best games to be released on to the latest generation of consoles and PC. A Witcher TV series could be very exciting and entertaining, especially with all the mythology and lore that already exists in the games and books. Best of all original Witcher creator Andrzej Sapkowski will be the creative consultant for the new Netflix series.

Seth MacFarlanes The Orville: Official Trailer

So it looks like Seth MacFarlane is taking his love for science fiction where no TV show has gone before. Actually several have gone here before but his new show The Orville puts a bit of a slapstick, comedic twist to it. This is definitely a spoof of the many Star Trek TV series that have come and gone, but also a bit of an homage to them as well. To be honest this actually looks like a refreshing new show that I could honestly get into. Also, with John Favreau directing this new series I think it has a lot of potential to be a hit. The only thing I’m worried about is that it already looks like it has the same type of comedy as A Million Ways to Die in the West and that movie was terrible.
