Reboot: The Guardian Code Official Trailer

So the reboot of the 1990’s CGI animated series appropriately named “Reboot” is coming to Netflix, and they just dropped the first official trailer for it. The new series is titled Reboot: The Guardian Code and my first impressions of it aren’t very positive. The original series was a ground breaking attempt at bringing an all computer animated TV show to the small screen.  Back in the mid 90s it was revolutionary for it’s time, unfortunately the original series just didn’t age well at all. The new series attempts to bring Reboot into the modern era with updated animation that is still reminiscent of the old show, but this time adding in an element of live action to it. I use to love the old show as a kid but I’m afraid this new one just doesn’t look very good to me.

Live-Action Halo TV Series Still in Development

I recently wrote about the return of Steven Spielberg’s animated series Animaniacs that isn’t set to debut until 2020. If you missed that story just click here to get the details on that. In that post I mentioned that a Spielberg directed, live-action, Halo TV series was announced 5 years ago along with the Xbox One reveal. I also mentioned that because we’ve been waiting so long for it that I am not holding my breath on the return of Animaniacs in 2 years. In all honesty I thought the Halo TV series was dead in the water but it looks like there still may be some hope left after all. I guess shame on us fans for giving up so easliy?

The Animaniacs are coming to HULU but not for a while

All the way back in May of last year we heard that the classics 90’s cartoon Animaniacs would be getting a reboot. If you missed that story just click here to check it out. Since then things have been pretty quiet about the whole thing until today when it was announced that The Animaniacs will be making their return to the small screen through the streaming giant Hulu. For those of us that have fond memories of watching this show after a long day at school, this is some very exciting news. However don’t be expecting to see Yakko, Wakko, and their sister Dot right away. In fact, the new series is not expected to premiere until some time in the year 2020. A lot can change in 2 years so I for one am not getting too excited just yet.

Rick and Morty Old Spice Commercial

I was thinking about this and I sorta went back and forth about it in my mind. I feel Like Rick Sanchez is the type of guy that would totally sell out to a company to make some quick cash, but on the other hand he also seems like the type of guy who doesn’t place much value in money. Or at least not making it in the conventional sense. He doesn’t seem to care much about having money to do things on Earth so it seems sorta weird that he’d want to do an Old Spice commercial. Well despite how I feel about it (or any of us for that matter) a Rick and Morty Old Spice commercial is now a thing and it definitely does not take it’s self very seriously.

Marvel’s The Punisher Official Trailer

It’s finally here! Netflix has released the official trailer for Marvel’s The Punisher and it looks seriously kick ass. Just a couple days ago we got a short promotional video featuring Frank Castle making some soldiers pay for going after him. If you missed that then just click here to check it out. However, it’s not necessary to watch it before you check out the official trailer that we have posted below for your viewing pleasure. The trailer is definitely brutal in true Punisher fashion not to mention that it is set to the hard hitting sound of Metallica’s song “One“. All in all I’d have to say that this might be one of the most intense and exciting trailers for a Marvel Netflix original series.

Brutal Punisher Promo Video

One of the best things to come out of the many Marvel series on Netflix was of course The Punisher played by Jon Bernthal. He debuted in season 2 of DareDevil and is now getting his own stand alone series set to premier sometime later this year. We were already treated with a pretty intense teaser that was released back in August and if you missed that then just click here to check it out. Well today Marvel released a short promotional video for the new Punisher series and it already looks pretty brutal. People should know by now that you don’t mess with Frank Castle or you’re gonna end up on the wrong side of an ass whoopin….or worse.

Rick and Morty Claymations are Awesome!

So I don’t know about you guys but I find that one new episode of Rick and Morty a week is definitely not enough. Unfortunately that is all we get and the worst part, is that we are already more than half way done with the third season. However, there is more Rick and Morty goodness to be had you just have to know where to find it. For example, take these awesome Rick and Morty claymations that have been airing on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. They are short recreations of some classic movies staring clay figures of the Rick and Morty cast, and they actually used the real voice actors from the show.

Amazing “Batman: The Animated Series” Collectible Villain Set

This week one of the most iconic animated series from the 90s turned 25 years old. For those of you that grew up in the 90s you probably loved or at least were familiar with Batman: The Animated Series. For many kids that grew up watching this show Kevin Conroy (Batman) and Mark Hamil (Joker) defined Batman and the Joker for their entire generation. There were so many great story lines, iconic animation, and memorable villains that came out of that series. Well in honor of the show’s 25th anniversary DC Collectibles is releasing the Batman: The Animated Series GCPD Rogues Gallery action figure set. One look at this set and it’s obvious that any fan of the animated series or Batman in general will want to add this to their collection.
