NEW Animated Series from the Creator of Regular Show

So this is why they ended Regular Show! I have to admit that I was very sad to see that show come to an end. My son and I are very big fans of Regular Show so it was hard to say goodbye. However, all good things must come to an eventual end and Regular Show was no exception. Now Regular Show creator J.G. Quintel is back with a new animated series and this one is definitely not for kids. In fact it’s not even going to air on Cartoon Network. The show is called Close Enough. It will actually air on TBS and it’s first season will consist of 13 episodes. I have posted the 2 minute series sneak peak below for your viewing pleasure so be sure to check it out.

Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling Sneak Peek

The hits just keep on coming at this years San Diego Comic Con. It’s only day one and there has already been some really cool trailer reveals. If you were a kid growing up in the 90s then you will most likely remember a little wallaby that went by the name of Rocko. Rocko’s Modern Life was a cartoon show that was part of the famous Nicktoons TV line up. The series ran for 3 years on Nickelodeon and ended in 1996. Here we are more than 20 years later and Rocko’s Modern Life is making a comeback with a new movie titled Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling. All the original voice actors are here and this sneak peak will definitely take you back to your childhood.

Possible Directors found for Mega Man Movie

This is honestly the first that I have even heard about a possible Mega Man movie in the works. Apparently back in 2015 it was announced that 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment would be taking over development on a movie based on the popular video game franchise. Personally I think Mega Man would be better suited for an animated movie series or Netflix show but you know Hollywood…”Where ever there is money to be made” is their motto. Well here we are 2 years later and it looks like we are very close to having both a writer and director for this movie project. However, I am a bit surprised to hear who the front runners are.

Nintendo Announces SNES Classic

For those of you that might have missed out on a chance to own the official NES Classic that was released by Nintendo last year, fear not because you are getting another chance to own a classic Nintendo gaming system. Today Nintendo announced that they will be releasing the Super Nintendo Classic and personally I am more excited about this one than I was for the NES classic. The release date is set for September 29 and will be sold for $80 U.S. The Super Nintendo Classic will come with 21 games and include the previously unreleased Star Fox 2. Now if this isn’t Nerdgasmic I honestly don’t know what is.

Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars

All the way back in 1997 the sci-fi cult classic film Starship Troopers was released. 20 years later it looks like we humans are still fighting for survival against the bugs yet somehow Johnny Rico has managed to stay a live this entire time. Now it seems that times are more desperate than ever and even worse their might be someone who has betrayed humanity in this war for existence. Honestly I loved the original but haven’t seen any of the sequels. However, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars sounds pretty exciting and makes me want to revisit this action packed and brutal universe. The CGI looks pretty good and might be worth a watch.

Animaniacs Getting Rebooted

Hellooooooo Nurse! I never thought I would live to see the day that the Warner Brothers and their sister would escape their vault for yet another time, but here w are. If you were a kid growing up in the 90s then there was nothing you looked forward to more than coming home from school and tuning in to the crazy adventures of Yako, Wako, and their sister Dot. It’s been almost 20 years since the final episode of the Animaniacs aired and cartoons haven’t been the same since. Well here we are in 2017 and the beloved show from our childhood is looking at getting rebooted and making a comeback to TV.

Netflix Castlevania Teaser Trailer

In darkness, a hero returns in this first official teaser trailer for the new Netflix anime series Castlevania. This teaser trailer looks dark, and bloody, and I can’t wait to watch the actual series. Castlevania was a classic game for the Nintendo Entertainment System and though there have been several sequels spanning across several game systems, the original will always be one of the most iconic games of all time. This trailer definitely has a great call back to the original NES days in it.
