Back to the 90s Music Video

I don’t know about you Nerd Nation, but I often find myself wishing I could go back to a simpler time, back when I was a kid and had no cares in the world. I wish I could go back to the 90s. Unfortunately, time travel only exists in the movies but that doesn’t mean that we can’t revisit the 90s. Thanks to Ben Giroux we can do just that by watching this totally awesome music video. There are so many great references made to the 90s that if you grew up then you will mostly likely remember every single one of them. Of course there is a bit of sadness when you think that most, if not all, of these great things we remember from our childhood don’t really exist anymore. However, it’s a great video and definitely worth remembering the 90s on this throwback Thursday.

That Spidey Life Bruno Mars Parody

I don’t think anyone is more excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming than we are here at Nerdgasm Needs. We can’t get enough of the web head and thanks to the Nerdist YouTube channel we have a new song and music video that we are obsessed with. It’s called That Spidey Life and is a parody of Bruno Mars’ That’s What I Like. The song is already super catchy but when you throw the Wall Crawler into the mix, now it’s just on a whole new level of awesomeness. It’s that Spidey life!

The Transformers Music Album Coming Soon (Video)

There is no doubt that one of the biggest things to come out of the 80s is the mega franchise known as the Transformers. They’ve had five major theatrical movie releases including the animated movie back in the 80s, numerous video games and TV incarnations, and now it looks like they are trying to break out into the music industry. It has been announced that a brand new music album based on the Robots in Disguise is in the works and will be available for purchase very soon.

Video Game Themes on Beer Bottles (Video)

In my opinion nothing goes together better than beer and video games. Even after all the beer is gone you can still find a way to make the two work together. For example, in the video below a group of guys get together and bring to life some of our favorite video game theme songs using empty beer bottles. I’m pretty sure you will recognize all of the songs they play and it will definitely give you that feeling of nostalgia.

Deadpool vs Boba Fett Rap Battle (Video)

So we’ve seen a lot of iconic heroes battle it out in epic fan duels, but this one is a little different. This time the Merc with a mouth and arguably the most bad ass bounty hunter in the galaxy battle it out with words instead of weapons in an epic rap battle. That’s right Deadpool goes head to head with Boba Fett and the results are pretty awesome. The hardest part of this whole thing is deciding who won because there can be no draws in a battle to the death.

Hatsune Miku – Glass Wall (Video)

As most of you out there know I am a huge music lover and that goes for all different types of music. A couple years ago I was introduced to Vocaloids which are basically computer generated voice programs that sings what the user types. It may not be familiar to some of you but chances are you’ve seen one of the most popular Vocaloid stars in the world Hatsune Miku at some point in recent years. She is a huge star in Japan and increasing in popularity in the U.S. So much in fact that last year Lady Gaga actually used her for the opening act of her live shows.

Darth Punk Music Video

How do you make an already wildly popular theme even better? Add bright colorful lights and awesome music of course. Darth Punk is that latest visual and audio feast from InfectiousDesigner. It got me hooked immediately because it combines two of my favorite things in life; Star Wars and bright LED lights. Seriously, I’d add awesome neon lighting to everything if I could. Something about it just adds a really cool extra element as you can plainly see in the music video below.

Pray to Crom

Oh man I love the Conan movies and this meme made me laugh. Those movies were great in so many ways, but some of the dialog is what is really memorable. Personally they are some of my favorite movies (despite some of the cheesy dialog) and to this day I love quoting them. I know I’m not the only one. Anyway, I pray to Crom that you have a great Wednesday Nerd Nation, but if he does not listen, then to Hell with him!
