Marvel’s Black Panther Official Teaser Trailer

Marvel has released their first official teaser trailer for the much anticipated Black Panther stand alone movie. T’Challa, the new ruler of the advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must defend his land from being torn apart by enemies from outside and inside the country. Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o, and is Directed by Ryan Coogler. The cinematography looks amazing. This is definitely one beautiful looking movie. The trailer is filled with action, excitement and a bit of mystery. This is most definitely one of the most anticipated super hero movies of the year.

Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars

All the way back in 1997 the sci-fi cult classic film Starship Troopers was released. 20 years later it looks like we humans are still fighting for survival against the bugs yet somehow Johnny Rico has managed to stay a live this entire time. Now it seems that times are more desperate than ever and even worse their might be someone who has betrayed humanity in this war for existence. Honestly I loved the original but haven’t seen any of the sequels. However, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars sounds pretty exciting and makes me want to revisit this action packed and brutal universe. The CGI looks pretty good and might be worth a watch.

Back to the 90s Music Video

I don’t know about you Nerd Nation, but I often find myself wishing I could go back to a simpler time, back when I was a kid and had no cares in the world. I wish I could go back to the 90s. Unfortunately, time travel only exists in the movies but that doesn’t mean that we can’t revisit the 90s. Thanks to Ben Giroux we can do just that by watching this totally awesome music video. There are so many great references made to the 90s that if you grew up then you will mostly likely remember every single one of them. Of course there is a bit of sadness when you think that most, if not all, of these great things we remember from our childhood don’t really exist anymore. However, it’s a great video and definitely worth remembering the 90s on this throwback Thursday.

Judge Dredd TV Series in the Works

Great news Judge Dredd fans, it looks like there is a TV series based on our favorite futuristic law bringer currently in the works. Personally we here at Nerdgasm Needs are huge fans of the 2012 Dredd film and have been eagerly waiting for a sequel. Though this is not a direct sequel to the movie, fans should still be pretty excited about this announcement. Honestly, an on going TV series might actually be a little better avenue for Dredd especially with so much content already written in the comic series. This has the potential to be one of the best comic booked based series on TV if it is done right. Also be sure to check out the official poster below.

The Best Star Wars Movie Lightsaber Battle

The Star Wars franchise has given us one of the best weapons in science fiction and movie history. I am of course talking about none other than the iconic lightsaber. It’s not as clumsy or random as a blaster. It’s an elegant weapon from a more civilized age. We’ve all wished that we could wield a real lightsaber at some point in our lives but unfortunately we’ve had to settle for watching them be used in battle on the big screen. So, in honor of today being May the 4th and Star Wars Day I thought I would share with you what I consider to be the best lightsaber battle in all of Star Wars cinematic history.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Teaser Trailer

The first official teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is finally here! It looks to pick up right where The Force Awakens left off. All the new faces that we have grown to love and even some that we have grown to hate have returned. Rey has started her Jedi training and is learning the ways of the force with Luke Skywalker. However, the empire looks more determined than ever to rid the galaxy of the rebellion and the Jedi once and for all. I never thought that we would ever get this many Star Wars movies so close together.

Josh Brolin Cast as Cable in Deadpool 2

So it looks like 20th Century Fox has found their Cable for the upcoming Deadpool sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, none other than Josh Brolin will be playing the part of the time traveling, techno organic soldier. Personally I think he is a pretty decent pick for this role. However, I’ll never understand why movie studios refuse to listen to their fan base and cast an actor or actress that fans have rallied for. Still, Josh Brolin is a pretty solid choice and I’m pretty positive that he will make for a good Nathan Summers
