The Predator Official Trailer and Thoughts

It’s been 8 years since we last saw the Predator in his own movie. Finally after all these years we get another stand alone Predator movie appropriately titled The Predator. I can’t tell you how excited I’ve been for this movie especially knowing that the original screen writer Shane Black signed on to write the script for this movie. We’ve been given movie posters, screen shots, and a trailer teaser but for a big Predator fan like myself all I’ve wanted to see is how he was going to look in this movie. Thankfully I have to say that this new Predator’s armor, weapons and mask look completely bad ass. However as for the movie it’s self, that might be another story.

Hasbro Buys The Power Rangers

Hasbro has officially purchased the Power Rangers property from Saban Entertainment. According to reports the cost of the deal is valued at $520 million. That is a whole lot of money but I think that it has gone to some really good and capable hands. Not only did Hasbro acquire the Power Rangers but the deal also included several other brands like; My Pet MonsterPopplesJulius Jr., and Luna Petunia. Hasbro is one of the biggest toy companies in the industry today and I think this could be really good news for toy collectors and Power Rangers fans that want to see a real movie franchise come to life. Below we have posted a statement from Hasbro’s CEO Brian Goldner about the purchase.

Ant-Man and The Wasp NEW Trailer

If you haven’t seen Avengers: Infinity War yet then you might want to skip the article and just watch the trailer that we’ve posted for you below. Here’s your !!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!! So one of the biggest questions that fans were left with after watching Avengers: Infinity War was, “Where was Ant-Man during all of this?” It was briefly mentioned that Ant-Man went into hiding after the events of Captain America: Civil War, but that was the extent of him being in the movie. Now we get this brand new trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp that reveals more of where he was at and what he was doing. However, after the impact that Infinity War has had on me I’m not sure any other Marvel movie can fill the void until the next Avengers movie comes out.

Incredibles 2 Official Trailer

It has been 14 long years since the first Incredibles movie was released into theaters. About 2 years back we heard the announcement that Disney and Pixar was in the process of making a sequel. Within the last few months we were able to get some short glimpses and screenshots of the upcoming movie, then finally today Disney graced us with the first official trailer for the Incredibles 2. The sequel picks up directly after the original and right from the beginning the Incredible family still looks and sounds exactly the same. It really feels as if no time has passed and I like that a lot. However, I don’t know if it’s just me but the animation in this trailer looks amazing. It’s reminiscent of the original but much more clean and crisp.

NEW Deadpool 2 Trailer

Back in February we got our first look at Deadpool and a somewhat unfinished Cable but today we are graced with a fully finished trailer for Deadpool 2. Honestly the most exciting part about this trailer is that we get our first look at the X-Force and I have to admit that they look pretty bad ass. However, Josh Brolin’s Cable looks awesome and comes in at a close second to seeing the X-Force. If I had one complaint it would most likely be the fact that Domino looks too simplistic. She’s not a hard character to mess up, yet some how the studio managed to do it. Still she is not a character that I am super invested in so for me her look isn’t too hard to get past. Also I’m glad to see Colossus back in this one even if he just has a small role this time.

Mark Hamill gets choked up filming with Yoda in TLJ

This is a very cool behind the scenes look at Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) filming a scene with Frank Oz (Yoda) on the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It’s like watching two old friends be reunited for the first time in decades. Essentially that is what is happening because even though Mark and Frank have reunited, this is the first time we see Luke and Yoda reunite since The Return of The Jedi was released back in 1983. For fans who saw The Last Jedi this was definitely an emotional moment and it’s really cool to see that it was for the actors as well. Check out the video below and be sure to let us know what you think of it Nerd Nation!

Pacific Rim: Uprising LEGO Trailer

Many movie trailers have gotten some really unique fan made versions of them and Pacific Rim: Uprising is no exception. This time it gets the LEGO treatment from Brick FORCE Studios and it looks awesome. I would definitely watch a Lego Pacific Rim movie not to mention be excited for some actual Pacific Rim Lego sets. The video below is a great recreation of the first trailer that was released for the upcoming Pacific Rim movie back in October of last year. If you haven’t seen it yet (which we recommend that you do first) or want to compare the two with each other, then just click here to see the first official Pacific Rim: Uprising trailer.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Movie Trailer

Ever since we heard that Marvel was going to be able to feature Peter Parker and Spider-Man in their Marvel cinematic universe we have been wondering what Sony was going to do with Miles Morales. Last year they announced that they would be making an animated movie featuring him as Spider-Man and today we finally get our first look at it. The movie is titled Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and right off the bat the animation reminds me of an updated version of the 2003 MTV Spider-Man series. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing though. In fact it actually looks pretty cool. I love the stylized look to the animation and especially Miles as Spidey.
