The LEGO Ninjago Movie SDCC Trailer

All the way back in February we got our first look at the Lego Ninjago movie and it looked decent but I wasn’t completely sold on it. Mainly because I had watched the series with my son and we had already grown attached to those characters and voice actors. Well here we are in July and the NEW San Diego Comic Con Lego Ninjago trailer has been released and it looks awesome! Not only does it look like it has a decent amount of action and cool special effects, but it is going to be hilarious. I already love Dave Franco as LLoyd the green ninja and Jackie Chan as Sensei Wu. Personally I can’t wait to take my son to see it, but mostly I can’t wait to see it myself.

LEGO Ninjago Movie Trailer (Video)

This looks like the year of Lego in the movies with the coming release of the Lego Batman Movie and now the Lego Ninjago Movie. Yesterday Warner Bros. released the first official trailer for the new movie and it actually looks pretty good with some great humor in it that we’ve come to expect from Lego movies in general. I was curious to see if this would be a continuation of the Ninjago series that is on Cartoon Network or if it would be a complete reboot. Looks like they went with the reboot route.

LEGO Voltron Set

With the recent success of the new Voltron series on Netflix it is no surprise that we are seeing more of the iconic robot lately. Being a kid that was born in the 80s I have always loved Voltron from as far back as I can remember. Well one Lego builder has taken his love for the giant robot to the next level and created and epic Voltron set out of Legos. After seeing the images of this fan made set I am now definitely a supporter of Lego making this an official set…Shut up and take my money!

NEW Lego Ninjago Movie Cast Revealed

So there has been some interesting news about another new Lego movie. Though the official follow up to the actual Lego Movie is still a ways away, it appears that a featured length film based off of the popular Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu franchise has found its leading cast. Personally I have watched the entire first season of the animated series with my kids and I think it’s pretty cool. The odd thing is that even though this series has been on Cartoon Network since 2011 they have decided to go with different voice actors for the up coming movie.

LEGO Overwatch D.VA Figure

I’m not much of an Overwatch player but I did enjoy the open beta and one of the characters that I liked to use was D.VA. As most of you know by now I am a sucker for anime style mechs and giant robots. D.VA has anime style and rides around in an awesome mech suit. A very talented builder going by the name of Stormbringer created a small but mighty LEGO version of D.VA and her bad ass mech suit. I don’t know about you guys but I would definitely buy LEGO Overwatch figures like this.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser (Video)

So after the teaser leaked online last night, Lucas Film and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment jumped into action releasing the official teaser for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens today. I feel like this release is a bit late since normally the movie tie in games release dates coincide with the release date of their respective movie. Anyway, it’s out now and this new Star Wars teaser is filled with tons of Lego goodness.

LEGO Arkham Asylum Build (Video)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “I can believe the things people have built using Lego bricks.” A fan built a miniature version of Gotham City’s Arkham Asylum using 18,000 Lego pieces. I can’t even imagine having the vision for something like this let alone actually trying to build it without any kind of instructions. This Lego Arkham Asylum build was for a builders convention held in Melbourne, Australia.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens LEGO Trailer (Video)

Like most of the world I can’t wait for Star Wars: The Force Awakens to hit theaters next month. In the mean time I have watched the trailer probably about 50 times because it’s jut that damn good. So at this point I’m starting to slow down a bit, not needing my daily Force Awakens fix. That is, until I saw this awesome rendition of it posted earlier today. Once again someone has taken the awesomeness of Star Wars and combined it with the fun of LEGO.
