Back to the 90s Music Video

I don’t know about you Nerd Nation, but I often find myself wishing I could go back to a simpler time, back when I was a kid and had no cares in the world. I wish I could go back to the 90s. Unfortunately, time travel only exists in the movies but that doesn’t mean that we can’t revisit the 90s. Thanks to Ben Giroux we can do just that by watching this totally awesome music video. There are so many great references made to the 90s that if you grew up then you will mostly likely remember every single one of them. Of course there is a bit of sadness when you think that most, if not all, of these great things we remember from our childhood don’t really exist anymore. However, it’s a great video and definitely worth remembering the 90s on this throwback Thursday.

Judge Dredd TV Series in the Works

Great news Judge Dredd fans, it looks like there is a TV series based on our favorite futuristic law bringer currently in the works. Personally we here at Nerdgasm Needs are huge fans of the 2012 Dredd film and have been eagerly waiting for a sequel. Though this is not a direct sequel to the movie, fans should still be pretty excited about this announcement. Honestly, an on going TV series might actually be a little better avenue for Dredd especially with so much content already written in the comic series. This has the potential to be one of the best comic booked based series on TV if it is done right. Also be sure to check out the official poster below.

Halo 3 Room Locked for 10 Years…Until Now

Halo 3 is arguably one of the best games to ever grace the Xbox 360. I for one have very fond memories of playing Halo 3 for endless hours with my friends. In fact, it was the whole reason I bought an Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3 at the time. One of the best parts about the game was the amazing campaign mode that was filled with action mystery, and some hidden secrets. Some of those secrets were meant to be found while others in the game where never meant for fans to see. However, one group of dedicated players spent 10 years trying to get into an area of the map that was blocked but eventually their hard work and tireless efforts paid off.

That Spidey Life Bruno Mars Parody

I don’t think anyone is more excited about Spider-Man: Homecoming than we are here at Nerdgasm Needs. We can’t get enough of the web head and thanks to the Nerdist YouTube channel we have a new song and music video that we are obsessed with. It’s called That Spidey Life and is a parody of Bruno Mars’ That’s What I Like. The song is already super catchy but when you throw the Wall Crawler into the mix, now it’s just on a whole new level of awesomeness. It’s that Spidey life!

FREE Fan Made DBZ Fighting Game

Alright Dragon Ball fans, you will definitely thank us for bringing this to your attention. There is an awesome fan made, 2D fighting game out that you have to get your hands on. It’s titled Hyper Dragon Ball Z and features some of your most favorite characters from the Dragon Ball anime series. Best of all it is completely free to download and play on your PC. Hyper DBZ is easy to play, has some pretty fun game types, and doesn’t require you to have a monster gaming PC to play it. I was able to run it just fine off of my 7 year old Dell Inspiron.

Deadpool Musical (Video)

So the Deadpool musical is actually a thing and YES it’s as great as it sounds. Now don’t expect to see this in an actual Broadway play, but you can enjoy this awesome video from the Deadpool Said YouTube channel. Only Deadpool can take an iconic song from a Disney animated movie, throw in death and violence, and make it all work so well together. Not only that, but the video it’s self is very well done and looks pretty professional. If we didn’t know any better one might think this was an official Marvel project.

Zordon is a Racist (Video)

In honor of the new Power Rangers movie I thought this might be a good time to post this hilarious video. Back in the 90s when the original series first came out there was a little bit of possibly unintentional type casting going on. We were just kids at the time so of course most of us were oblivious to it, but as we got older it became glaringly obvious. This video from CollegeHumor is several years old but definitely relevant again with the release of the new movie.

Harry Potter Rap You Need To Hear (Video)

I’ve heard some decent Geek rap parodies before but this might be the best one yet. Usually I’m not a huge fan of geek themed music videos but HufflePuff Puff Pass is pretty damn catchy. Haven’t heard many songs about the Hufflepuff crew. It seems as though Gryffindor and Slytherin always get the attention in these sort of things so it’s nice to throw some recognition to the friendliest house in Hogwarts every once in a while.
