Sony Getting Ready to Screw Up Venom

Last week Sony announced that they will be moving forward with plans to produce a stand alone Venom movie that will be the catalyst for an entire Marvel themed, cinematic universe. Currently Sony owns the movie rights to many Marvel characters and they want to cash in on the popularity of them before it is too late. However, as a fan I think I would much rather see them give the rights back to Marvel instead of making another terrible flop like the Fantastic Four, Spider-man 3 (which contained a terrible Venom) or all of the Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer 2

It’s finally here! The official second trailer for the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. This one looks even better than the first and Marvel seems to have really captured Spidey’s personality as both the Web Head and Peter Parker. This trailer is filled with action and just the right amount of comedy. Personally, I think the movie looks great and I can’t wait to see this in theaters. We have posted the trailer below for you viewing pleasure so be sure to check it out!

Deadpool Musical (Video)

So the Deadpool musical is actually a thing and YES it’s as great as it sounds. Now don’t expect to see this in an actual Broadway play, but you can enjoy this awesome video from the Deadpool Said YouTube channel. Only Deadpool can take an iconic song from a Disney animated movie, throw in death and violence, and make it all work so well together. Not only that, but the video it’s self is very well done and looks pretty professional. If we didn’t know any better one might think this was an official Marvel project.

The Justice League Official Trailer (Video)

The official Justice League trailer has just been released and it is filled with action. Batman has assembled the greatest heroes from around the world in order to fight an alien menace. It looks great and honestly I would have never imaged Aqua Man looking so bad ass. So much so that he doesn’t really feel like Aqua Man, but maybe that’s a good thing. Honestly I am surprised how quickly a trailer for this movie has come out especially so close to the new trailer for Wonder Woman. I really hope Warner Bros isn’t rushing thins…again.

Wonder Woman Official Trailer (Video)

Warner Bros. Pictures released the official Wonder Woman Origin Trailer today and it is spectacular! So far I haven’t really been a fan of the DC Cinematic Universe but I think Wonder Woman might be the first movie I am actually looking forward to seeing besides the Justice League movie. I wasn’t so sure about it from the trailer we got last year but this is really starting to look good. Dare I say Wonder Woman might actually find a place on my best Nerd movies of 2017 list.

X-23 Viral Clip (Video)

Logan is almost here and I am excited to see Hugh Jackman play Wolverine for the last time. However, in this latest clip for the movie the focus is on Laura Kinney aka X-23. Here we see what looks to be an amateur video of X-23 being held in a facility presumably where she was given her deadly claws much like Wolverine was. Unfortunately unlike Wolverine she is just a kid and she is not the only one being held captive in this video. Logan is definitely earning it’s R rating and this viral video is taking full advantage of it.

Nerdcast 2.0 Episode 13 (Podcast)

On this episode of the Nerdgasm Needs podcast I talk about my best and worst celebrity experiences at Comic Con, give you my thoughts on the good and bad of the Ghost Recon: Wild Lands beta, and talk about the official Iron Fist trailer for the Marvel/Netflix series coming later this year. Did you notice something familiar about the new trailer for it? Please give it a listen, share with your friends, and let me know what you think Nerd Nation by leaving me your thoughts and comments below.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Trailer (Video)

There is no doubt that DC are the kings of animated super hero movies and this latest one looks awesome! DC Entertainment has released the first trailer for Teen Titans: The Judas Contract which will show case the titans up against Deathstroke and the villainous organization the H.I.V.E. The trailer is action packed and the animation quality is on point as always. I definitely love seeing the Teen Titans in this form as opposed to the awful Teen Titans GO series on Cartoon Network.
