Rick and Morty Anime Opening

This is easily one of the most creative and well made fan animations that I have seen for Rick and Morty so far. While most of us are patiently waiting for the fourth season of Rick and Morty to air, the fine folks over at Malec have made an awesome anime style opening for the show. Honestly this is just bad ass. The creators obviously know their anime openings and if I didn’t know any better I would think that this was the real deal. The way the music begins is a great mix of the original show theme and some awesome J-Pop. Honestly this is just a really cool tribute to a really great show. If you are a fan of anime and/or Rick and Morty then you will definitely love this short animation.

Poster and Release Date for Castlevania Season 2

Old school Nintendo fans and anime lovers alike were united in their praise of the Netflix original anime series, Castlevania. If you haven’t watched the first season yet I highly recommend that you do. The series itself was really well done. The animation was great, the characters were well fleshed out, the story was mysterious but also exciting. Overall it was just really entertaining and left us wanting more. I think the biggest complaint was that it was really short. Season 1 consisted of only 4 episodes and worst of all fans were left believing that it would be a solid couple of years before we got more episodes. However, Netflix has made sure that is not the case and dropped an awesome new poster and release date for Castlevania’s second season.

D.Va Overwatch Short – “Shooting Star”

Finally D.Va gets her own animated short! Once again Blizzard has delivered us some more awesome Overwatch content and this time it’s another animated short featuring our favorite mech pilot D.Va. Sometimes blizzard has a way of pulling on our heart strings with these shorts, but don’t worry you won’t need the tissues for this one. This Overwatch animated short is titled “Shooting Star” and it definitely fits D.Va’s character. Of course the animation quality is on point once again and honestly Blizzard could give Disney a run for their money. Personally I would love to see a feature length Overwatch movie done in this style of animation, just as long as the original voice actors would be willing to do it also.

One Punch Man Season 2 Announcement Trailer

Sometimes I can’t believe how long it takes to get a second season of an anime series. One Punch Man was one of the biggest anime series of 2015, and by the time season 2 comes out it will have been 4 years since the first episode premiered. Still they say all good things come to those who wait and I hope that stands true for season 2 of One Punch Man. That’s right Nerd Nation, we are finally getting a second season and I can’t wait to see what new super powered enemies Saitama, Genos, and all the other heroes will face this time around. Unfortunately for us we still have to wait about 7 more months as One Punch Man Season 2 won’t officially premier until April of 2019…

Cowboy Bebop Movie in US Theaters This August

One of the greatest anime series of all time is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and, coming off of Anime Expo 2018 I’m all about anything anime related right now. Funimation has announced that it will be showing Cowboy Bebop The Movie: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door in the US August 15 – August 16 in select theaters. If you prefer you anime subbed and not dubbed then the August 15th showing is for you. However, if you like the English dubbed version then you should go on August 16th. The film originally opened in Japan all the way back in 2001, and previously screened in the U.S. back in 2002 and 2003. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see it back then so I’m glad I get a second chance at seeing it on the big screen.

Ghost of Tsushima E3 2018 Gameplay Trailer

I first heard about Ghost of Tsushima back in December of last year when a teaser trailer was released during Paris Games Week. If you haven’t seen it or want to watch it again, then just Click Here to check it out. Since then I have been super excited to see more of this game and Sony finally came through with an awesome 9 minute gameplay trailer at this year’s E3. Personally I have been waiting for a detailed, open world, Samurai game to come to either consoles or PC for a long time. Ghost of Tsushima looks absolutely beautiful and I think Sony and Sucker Punch (developer) have really figured out the keys to making a game like this great. I can’t wait to battle enemies armed with my katana and code of honor.

Bandai Mini Classic Voltron Figure

If you were a kid who grew up in the 80s or just a fan of the popular animated series Voltron then you have to check this out. Bandai has released a new mini-figure for pre-order that actually comes with 5 lions to combine into the defender of the universe Voltron or Beast King GoLion as he is known in Japan. Fully combined this figure stands at only approx. 7.1″ tall, but is still highly pose-able and very detailed. The paint scheme on this figure is nice and bright, and very reminiscent of the original animation. This new Voltron figure is going to be part of Bandai’s Shokugan Mini Pla series which means that the figures will have some die-cast in them.

Attack on Titan Season 3 Trailer

We are only a few short months away from the premiere of the the third season of Attack on Titan. !!!SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven’t seen all of season 2 then you might want to skip the rest of this article, but I’m gonna assume that everyone has seen it other wise you wouldn’t be here. The last season was crazy! We saw the debut of a new smart titan, we found out that there were Titans in the walls, but worst of all that Reiner and Bertholdt were the traitorous titans that were responsible for the very first attack from season 1.  Still it seems like the more mysteries that get uncovered, the more questions we are left with. Season 3 looks to bring about some more answers but also a lot more questions.
