Red Dead Redemption Official Trailer 3

Definitely one of the games that I am most excited about coming out this year is Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games released yet another story trailer for the game today and it looks like it is going to be very intense and a bit different from the original. Obviously this is set to be a prequel to the last one and there was even a familiar scarred up face in this new trailer. That’s right, looks like a younger John Marston will be in Red Dead 2 but it doesn’t really seem like the story centers around him this time. I think at this point my only real complaint is that as good as these story trailers are, I would really like to see some actual game play footage.

There still isn’t a whole lot we know about Red Dead Redemption 2 however. Rockstar has been pretty guarded with the details ever since this game was first announced back in October of 2016. One of the best and most fun parts about the original was the online multi-player mode. We can only assume that it’s sequel will also have an online multi-player mode but so far there have been no details released on that either. I definitely would love to see something similar to the last game but this time with a bit more character customization. Also, I think being able to collect on bounties with friends online would also be a lot of fun. Obviously these are just some of my own thoughts but I don’t think it would be too much of a surprise if something like that was included into the game.

E3 2018 is just around the corner and most likely we will finally get to see some actual game play footage from the good folks over at Rockstar Games. Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One October 26, 2018. So check out the latest trailer below and as always let us know what you think of it Nerd Nation. Did you spot John Marston in this trailer, do you think it’s someone else, and how much of a role do you think he plays in Red Dead 2? Be sure to let us know your thoughts on this by leaving them in a comment below, on the Facebook page, or hit us up on the Twitter @Nerdgasmneeds.
