Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2 Announced

Good news for Division fans! Ubisoft has officially announced the development of Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2. Members of the development team announced it on an official Ubisoft live stream and said that a full reveal will be coming this summer at E3 2018. Personally I was a big fan of this game in the beginning but lost interest in it after reaching the first level cap. The announcement comes exactly 2 years to the day after to original Division was launched. Not many details were given about the upcoming sequel except that “some” player progression will be carried over from the original game. An official logo was released on Ubisoft’s own website and we have posted it below for you guys.

It is also important to note that Ubisoft has said that support for the original Division will still continue including a 4k patch for Xbox One X owners in an up coming update. However, for more information it looks like we will all have to wait until this summer for E3. I definitely had some good times with the original and maybe now might be a good time to revisit that game especially since an official announcement for a sequel has been made. I am definitely willing to give the sequel a chance and hope that Ubisoft will take into consideration player feed back from the first installment. The game was ambitious but fell short in some of it’s execution. Not to mention that what was shown at E3 2014 was a far cry from what we actually got.

So check out the official logo for Tom Clany’s: The Division 2 and let us know your thoughts on this announcement Nerd Nation.
