Days Gone Delayed Until 2019

One of the most anticipated games of 2018 has been pushed back to next year. The spectacular looking zombie survival game known as Days Gone has officially been delayed until sometime in 2019. Days Gone was first announced at E3 2016 and was recieved by fans with a lot of excitement. OK, the first thing I will say is that if this delay helps bring us a better game then I am all for it. I hate when companies rush a game’s development just to get it out in time to meet their deadline and what we get as a result falls far short of what we were promised. Still I am a little disappointed that after being announced 2 years ago there is still not solid release date in site for this game.

Sony Worldwide Studio president Shuhei Yoshida had this to say in a recent interview with GameSpot. “We can confirm that Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date,” No other information was released about what part of 2019 Days Gone will be released. Also, no reasons were given for the game’s delay. Last year at E3 2017 some truly awesome looking game play footage was released for Days Gone. I guess only time will tell when and if we will actually see Days Gone released in 2019. As always we want to hear from your Nerd Nation.
