D.C. Animation Batman: Gotham by Gaslight Sneak Peek

One of the best things about D.C. Comics is their awesome animated movies. The latest one to be released is titled Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. It is basically a “what if” story about Batman facing off against Jack the Ripper back in the 1800s. Personally I have only heard of this comic but never actually read it myself. However, this animation looks pretty awesome and I really like the concept of this, especially when you consider how great of a detective Batman is. Unfortunately I feel like most if not all of the movie adaptations and even some of the animated ones really miss the mark when it comes to portraying Batman as the detective he truly is.

“Gotham by Gaslight is a DC Comics one-shot by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola, with inks by P. Craig Russell. It spawned a sequel, Master of the Future (1991), also written by Augustyn, but with drawings by Eduardo Barreto.”

This definitely looks like a good one to me and I am looking forward to watching it when it arrives sometime in 2018. So check out the sneak peak of Batman: Gotham by Gaslight below and as always, let us know what you think of it Nerd Nation. Does this look like another home run for D.C. when it comes to their animated movies, or do you think this should have just stayed in the comics? Also what other classic Batman comic story lines would you like to see in an animated movie?
