NEW Animated Series from the Creator of Regular Show

So this is why they ended Regular Show! I have to admit that I was very sad to see that show come to an end. My son and I are very big fans of Regular Show so it was hard to say goodbye. However, all good things must come to an eventual end and Regular Show was no exception. Now Regular Show creator J.G. Quintel is back with a new animated series and this one is definitely not for kids. In fact it’s not even going to air on Cartoon Network. The show is called Close Enough. It will actually air on TBS and it’s first season will consist of 13 episodes. I have posted the 2 minute series sneak peak below for your viewing pleasure so be sure to check it out.

Close Enough is described as a surreal take on transitioning from twenty-something to thirty-something. The show revolves around a married couple juggling such everyday challenges as parenthood, friendship, ham theft, stripper clowns and choosing the right day care.

The show definitely looks entertaining and the most notable thing about Close Enough is that it is animated in the exact same style as Regular Show. However, in this new series the populations is made up of regular old humans rather than a mix of humans, talking animals, and inanimate objects come to life. I do think it would be cool if there were some Easter eggs or even some cameos from Regular Show characters in Close Enough. All in all the trailer looks funny and I am definitely willing to give this new animated series a shot especially because it comes from J.G. Quintel. Close Enough is set to premier on TBS Network in the 2017 – 2018 season.

So check out the sneak peak for Close Enough below and as always, let us know what you think of it Nerd Nation.
