Mint Box Mini Game System

The Raspberry Pi is definitely a modern marvel of today’s technology. Altoids mints are chalky over priced mints that give you good breath for a short while. Who knew these two things could be used to make an awesome mini gaming console? Technically the mints themselves don’t play any part in this build but the tin that they come in does. These two things combined with a chopped up Nintendo DS make an amazing little hand held gaming system, complete with classic games.

The MintyPi 2.0 is the brain child of a YouTuber by the name of wermy. It started out as a bit of a joke but ended up actually becoming a real project that people wanted to see him complete. After his first attempt turned out to be a little on the ugly side, he was able to refine his design by using some 3D printed parts to make it more functional. The completed mintyPi 2.0 looks awesome and would definitely be something that any gaming fan would want to own. So check out the video below for the mintyPi 2.0, and as always let us know what you think of this Nerd Nation.
