Ghost in the Shell Extended Clip (Video)

The live action Ghost in the Shell movie staring Scareltt Johansson is almost here and the more I see of it the more I like it. The famous rooftop jump scene that we have been seeing so much of lately has been released online and runs about 5 minutes long. Obviously this scene is a lot different than the original anime movie mainly because the Major is trying to save the target rather than kill him, but there are a lot of call backs to the original anime in it, right down to the awesome briefcase guns!

So no doubt this is not going to be a shot for shot recreation of the anime, but I like what they have done with it so far. You can definitely tell that this is a Ghost in the Shell movie and it looks like they have put in a lot of effort into trying to stay true to the source material. This scene is exciting and tactical which is what I loved about the anime movie. I hope the rest of this new live action movie is as good as what we see here. Ghost in the Shell hits theaters on March 31.
