Destiny 2 Official Trailer

The other day we got our first glimpse at Destiny 2 with a cinematic teaser trailer that was very lighthearted. If you missed that then you can watch it by clicking here. However, the full official trailer has arrived today and we’re pretty sure you’re going to watch that too. We have posted it below for you viewing pleasure so be sure to check it out. Bungie already seems like they have learned from some of their previous mistakes and has given this new Destiny game a lot more personality than the last one. In fact, this un-named Exo Guardian that we keep seeing reminds me of a certain fearless leader from Guardians of the Galaxy

Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home.

So it looks like we can take one of two routes with our Guardians in this game by either fighting for honor or fighting for loot. We’re sure there will be more factions in this game than what is represented in this small cinematic trailer, but I already like the idea of being a bad ass mercenary. Our biggest hope is that there is more customization options for our guardians, more social areas (since the tower was destroyed) and options to pick up missions and trade loot with other players. So check out the official Destiny 2 trailer and as always, let us know what you think Nerd Nation.
