Gears of War 4 Lancer Replica
With the release of Gears of War 4 this month Microsoft decided to put out something a little different to go along with the game. For those of you that love the Gears of War series like myself, then you will be excited to know that you can now be the proud owner of one of the most iconic weapons in gaming history. That’s right, I’m talking about the deadly Lancer from the Gears of War series. Of course this is only a replica but any fan of the games would love to own one of these and it is surprisingly affordable.
This is a 1:1 scale officially licensed replica of the famous weapon that appears in Gears of War 4. It is important to note that this is a Gears 4 replica because there are some small changes in the design from previous games. However, the things looks awesome and the fact that it’s an exact replica of the game weapon makes it that much more bad ass. The Lancer replica measures almost 42 inches in length and weighs in at a whopping 10.5 pounds. This things is definitely beast! Something like this would be perfect for cosplayers or just to put on display.
The detail on the lancer is beautiful and comes with fully functional lights, switches, and even a working and removable flashlight. As I said before it is affordable especially when you consider the size and attention to detail this replica has. Right now it is available for $150 U.S. and is set to release in November. My only complaint is the inclusion of the ugly orange tip that really just cheapens the whole look of the replica weapon. However that is an easy fix with some simple spray paint or just by removing the tip altogether.
