Regular Show In Space and Saying GoodBye (Video)

So I read about this a couple of weeks ago but was waiting for it to be made official before I was willing to believe it or write about it. Unfortunately, it has now been made official that the adventures of Mordecai and Rigby are coming to an end. That’s right, Season 8 will be the last season of Regular Show as Cartoon Network is officially pulling the plug on the Emmy award winning cartoon. Fear not though Nerd Nation because they are planning on going out with a bang.

The good news is that creator J.G. Quintel has stated that they are ending Regular Show in a very satisfying way and going out on their terms. Personally I think that is a lot better than letting it become stale and turning it into something that fans end up hating like many shows have done in the past. In a recent statement Quintel had this to say about his beloved creation;

mordecai-and-rigby-01“Making Regular Show has been so much fun. We got to tell all of the stories we wanted to tell, and making the choice to go out exactly how we want to go out. We’re so proud and excited for people to see how we’re wrapping things up in a big, big way. We’re bringing everything full circle.”

As sad as it is to see it go we still have one exciting and entertaining season of the show left. This time it looks like the park crew is going into space and who knows what sort of over the top hilarious adventures they will be getting into. We have posted the first look at Regular Show In Space below so be sure to check it out and let us know what you think. Regular Show is definitely a favorite show of mine but I’m glad to hear that it will end it on a high note. Thanks for 8 seasons of Entertainment guys. It was a blast! Regular Show In Space starts September 26…

As always we want to know what you think about all this Nerd Nation. Are you sad that we have to say goodbye to Regular Show and do you think that this is a good choice going out on top so to speak?
