NEW He-Man Episode to Air at Comic-Con (Video)

If you grew up in the 80s then you were most likely a fan of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It has been over 30 years since the original series went off the air, but here we are and the first new episode of the classic 1980s animated series will air at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. I was a huge fan of He-Man when I was a kid and had many of the toys. The kid inside of me is excited however, I have recently gone back and watched some of the original episodes and (in my opinion) the series just doesn’t hold up.

The new He-Man episode is produced by super7store’s channel and is titled “The Curse of the Three Terrors.” The episode is set to air Wednesday, July 20 at 10 p.m. at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. To be more specific you can watch the premiere at the corner of 8th Ave & G Street in downtown San Diego. We have posted the trailer below and like I said before the animation doesn’t look like it holds up well. Only time will tell if I actually am able to make it down there to check out the premier but based off of the trailer below it doesn’t look like I’ll be missing much if I don’t.

It definitely takes me back to a simpler time but I even tried to get my kids into the old series and neither of us could really make it through more than a few episodes. Still it is pretty cool that this new episode goes a long with the original timeline and hopefully this might open the door for a new and even better He-Man series in the future.

So check out the He-Man The Curse of the Three Terrors trailer below and let me know what you think Nerd Nation. Are you excited for a new He-Man episode based off of the original series or do you think that it was better left as a fond memory?
