Battlefield One Full Match (Video)

Most of us gamers were not lucky enough to be a part of the EA’s closed alpha for Battlefield One, but fear not because IGN was kind enough to put out a video showing an entire Multiplayer match. The video we see here was played in Domination mode where players have to capture and hold three different objective points on the map. Most gamers that play any type of first person shooter games will probably be familiar with this game mode. After seeing this video I want to get my hands on this game even more.

At first I was very skeptical about playing an FPS that was set during the first World War mostly because I have been ruined by technology. In fact I think I would have preferred if EA had gone back to their roots with a World War II shooter instead. After watching this game play footage I still feel very strongly about wanting another WWII shooter, but Battlefield One still looks pretty awesome. However, there are no vehicles in this match and not very many players it looks like.

Battlefield-One-Capture-03Although we don’t get the full scale Battlefield experience in this video we still get a good feel for the game and it’s weapons. Again I was a bit skeptical on how fun it would be using outdated WWI weapons, but this still looked very intense and entertaining. EA nailed the weapon sounds once again and you really get the feeling that these guns have some power behind them. Also I like the environment and the look of this quiet European town that will surly become a casualty of war. All in all this game is looking pretty good and I’m getting more excited for it.

Battlefield One hits shelves October 21, of this year. So check out the gameplay video below and let me know what you think Nerd Nation.
