Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands Trailer (Video)
Man it has been a minute since I’ve actually played a Ghost Recon game and even longer since I have played one that I actually enjoyed. Still Ghost Recon: Wildlands looks pretty interesting. All Ubisoft jokes aside I actually really want to like this game. Ghost Recon definitely takes me back to some fun times in my gaming life and I am excited to see that the franchise lives one. However, I’m not so sure how long this game can remain entertaining especially given the recent track record of Ubisoft.
Here’s a little bit of the description on the open world environment in Ghost Recon: Wildlands; The Wildlands are a living, reactive open-world environment where every individual choice you make has far reaching consequences. With the Faction Influence System, turn each dangerous situation into an advantage by seizing control of the cartel’s traffic patterns, patrols, and movements. I am definitely starting to see some similarities between this game and The Division which of course is Ubisoft’s baby right now.
As for the trailer it’s self I think it looks interesting but I’m definitely gonna need to see more for me to be completely sold on this game. The open world environment looks fun but the actual graphics in this trailer look like something for the last generation of consoles. Also, The Division was a big miss for me. I was excited about it after playing the beta but shortly after reaching level 30 I completely lost interest in the game. In fact it has been several months since I’ve last played it. Oh and Ubisoft is known for releasing games full of bugs and glitches so I don’t expect this to be any different.
I guess we will have to wait until E3 to more info about this game. Anyway check out the trailer for Ghost Recon: Wildlands below and let me know what you think Nerd Nation. Are you excited to finally have another Ghost Recon game and do you think it will be plagued with bugs like the Division has been?
