Red Dead Redemption 2 Map Leaked
There is some exciting news for gamers and fans of the Red Dead series (yes there is more than one) from Rockstar Games. Earlier this year it was reported that Red Dead Redemption 2 was in the works but nothing solid was ever really confirmed. Now it looks like there is some actual evidence as the game map has been leaked online. Again, I take this with some caution because until it is actually confirmed by the studio then there is always the possibility that this is fake. Honestly though, it looks pretty legit and I am super excited.
Earlier this week the map in question was posted on a thread at Neogaf by a user going by the name of Mideon, but was later removed. However, before it was removed someone was able to take a screen shot of it and it is now making its rounds among the inter-webs. If this is real then we are looking at something that is obviously still in the development stage but looks to be pretty far along. This map shows us that players will have a much bigger area to explore compared to the first game with a lot more water areas than the first one as well.
There are some familiar sections on the map that players of the original Red Dead Redemption might recognize like Great Planes, Tall Tress, and Manzanita Post. Again this could very easily be fake, but so far I am seeing promising things that leads me to believe that its not. There has been no word from Rockstar or it’s parent company Take Two Interactive on whether or not there is a Red Dead Redemption 2 on the way. If this is real however, I’m pretty sure we will hear something official in the not too distant future.
So check out the game map below and let me know what you think Nerd Nation. Do you think that this is real proof that Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the works or is this just one of the millions of internet hoaxes floating around right now?
