LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser (Video)

So after the teaser leaked online last night, Lucas Film and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment jumped into action releasing the official teaser for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens today. I feel like this release is a bit late since normally the movie tie in games release dates coincide with the release date of their respective movie. Anyway, it’s out now and this new Star Wars teaser is filled with tons of Lego goodness.

It’s funny because this Lego teaser recreates that first iconic teaser that was released for Star Wars: The Force Awakens right down to the scenes that weren’t used in the actual movie. It’s pretty cool, but there is no actual game play footage in this teaser. However, there is some promising information floating around about the game. Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens will help bridge the gap between Episode 6 and 7 with playable levels that take place after Return of The Jedi.

Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, BB-8, Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma will all be featured in Lego Star Wars and are playable characters. Not to mention, players will be able to pilot many of the iconic star ships in the game like the millennium falcon and x-wing fighters. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to release for consoles and PC on June 28 of this year.
