Batmobile Baby Stroller (Video)

This is pretty awesome and I had no idea that this web series even existed. Super-Fan Builds rewards viewer’s super fandom by building them a one of a kind creation for their personal collection. At least that’s the idea I got from seeing this one episode. In this one it’s all about the bat mobile in stroller form for one of the biggest Batman fans in the world, and his son.

When my son was first born getting the right stroller was important to me. I didn’t want something too girly but all the ones I liked were super expensive. Eventually we settled on one that we both could live with but nothing would have been able to compare to a custom Batmobile style stroller. I’m not a huge fan of the Dark Knight, Chris Nolan trilogy or the tumbler Batmobile for that matter, but as a stroller this is more bad ass than anything I’ve ever seen. The lucky recipient already had a pretty awesome collection of Batman and other Nerd memorabilia, but this one of a kind piece puts it over the top for sure.

Tim Baker creations made the stroller frame out of 1 1/2 inch steel square tubing so you know this thing is beefy from the start, and the body pieces were made from PVC foam sheeting. The wheels look pretty stationary meaning they roll but don’t turn to help you change directions. Any parent knows how important maneuverability is in a stroller. Not to mention it’s pretty wide so this probably isn’t something you’re going to take the kid grocery shopping in. Still the things looks awesome and I’d totally take it.
