Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser

After all the waiting, all the rumors, and all the speculation, the first official trailer/teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is finally here. We knew that it was going to premiere this weekend but there was all kinds of different information about how it would debut. I read only Regal Cinemas were going to be showing it, then I heard it would be only on Itunes starting Friday. I wake up this morning (late of course) and see that it has already hit the internet and everyone is talking about it…

So the question is did it live up to the hype and is there actually hope for a revival of the Star Wars franchise? It’s hard to say just off this short teaser and it will be interesting to see how the internet reacts over the next few weeks. You can definitely tell that it’s a J.J. Abrams film and that it has a completely different visual style compared to what we are use to when it comes to Star Wars. However, I think it looks fantastic and that it will be a very welcome change. I saw some interesting things in this teaser like a Storm Trooper with his helmet off, a more medieval style light saber, and several different style landscapes including; deserts, a lake, and snow covered woods.

All in all I can say I am very excited for a brand new chapter in the saga that is Star Wars. Anyways check out the trailer below for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and definitely let me know your thoughts Nerd Nation. Does this teaser look as good as your were hoping it would, and what stood out most to you. Leave me your thoughts in a comment below, on my Facebook page, or on my Twitter page…Enjoy!

Jurassic World Trailer (Video)

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. Well it’s finally here and I have to admit that it looks a lot better than I thought it would. Jurassic World is definitely reminiscent of the original film and will feature Christ Pratt as the dashing hero that no one will listen to.

The trailer looks great and gives off a very ominous feel. We know that nothing good comes from genetically cloning dinosaurs, especially when you make them all female and stick them in an inclosure together. Well even though it’s been 22 years and science has advanced quite a bit, it seems like no one has learned their lesson about doing such things. This time a team of ambitious scientists thought it would be a good idea to genetically engineer a super dinosaur that will most likely go on a killing spree. In all honesty I am very excited for this movie and the trailer just helped to push my excitement over the edge.

I remember watching the first Jurassic park movie in theaters with my mom. I was scared out of my mind, but I loved every second of it. I didn’t think Steven Spielberg could recreate the magic of the first one, but Jurassic World looks very promising. Anyways check out the trailer below and let me know what you think Nerd Nation. Is Jurassic World a GO or a NO for you and do you think it will be able to live up to the hype? Leave me your thoughts in a comment below, on the Facebook page, or on Twitter!

Alright Monday, it’s a short week so please take it easy Lol. The weekend was good although we did have some troubles on Friday which are still here waiting for me on Monday. Anyways, I hope you had a great weekend Nerd Nation and I hope that Monday is much kinder to you today than it has been to me already hahaha

Call of Duty Rage! (Video)

I thought this was an interesting story that you guys might like. I think most of us who have done any sort of online gaming can relate to this story, especially Call of Duty players. At one point or another (if you play online) you are going to run into gaming trolls who love to do nothing but piss people off and talk shit in games. Unfortunately it’s just part of the gaming world we live in. Everyone hate these guys and sometimes wish we could find them and stomp some respect into them. Well someone actually went and did just that to another gamer.

Lego Batman Is Jelly (Video)

This video is pretty funny especially if you’ve seen the Lego Movie. Emmet finally gets some pretty sweet revenge on The Dark Knight himself by making him just a bit jealous. As most of us know from the movie Emmet wasn’t exactly what we would picture when thinking of the heroic type, but he turned out to have the heart to save the day anyways. Now Batman on the other hand, is pretty much what we all  imagine when we think of a hero.

How It Should Have Ended gives us a much different look at how the Lego Movie could have ended up if Emmet had decided to hit the gym, lose his yellow color, and Marvel would have actually allowed any of their licensed heroes to be in the movie. There is no doubt that at the end of this, Batman is definitely Jelly. The animation and the voice acting are actually pretty good so click on the video below and give this a watch. As always I want to hear your thoughts Nerd Nation!

Do you think this would have made a better ending and would you like to see a Marvel/DC  crossover in Lego form? Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below, on the Facebook page, or on my Twitter page.

Storm Trooper Selfie

This had me crackin up for a while. Man these guys can’t shoot anything Haha. poor storm troopers. One of these days they’ll show us all and actually hit what they are aiming at. Until then, lets all have a good laugh at their expense. Hope everyone had a great day today. Be sure to add me on Twitter if you haven’t already and check out the Facebook page to keep in touch.

2015 Dragon Ball Z Movie (Video)

So it looks like we’re getting another Dragon Ball Z movie in 2015 (meaning only in Japan for the first year) and an old enemy of the Z warriors is going to be returning…again. Seems like this guy just doesn’t get the hint. Although, I have to admit that I think he was probably one of the toughest and most interesting villains of the entire series. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, the new DBZ movie will be featuring non other than the destroyer of the Saiyan race…Frieza!

From AnimeNewsNetwork
The January 2015 issue of Shueisha’s V Jump magazine is revealing on Friday the first key visual for the upcoming 2015 Dragon Ball Z film. The magazine also unveils the film’s title: Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragon Ball Z: F Is For Fukkatsu, or ‘resurrection’).

Most likely it will be called Dragon Ball Z: Frieza’s Resurrection when it comes out here in the states. Now If I’m not mistaken, I’m pretty sure we’ve already seen Frieza resurrected and he and his little army got their asses kicked by teen Gohan/Great Saiya-man. The new film takes place after “Battle of Gods” and Beerus will be making another appearance. However, Frieza will be the main focus of the movie as some of Frieza’s army is still around and collect the Dragon Balls to wish Frieza back to life. Again, it sounds very familiar but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Check out the Japanese teaser below and as always I want to know your thoughts on this Nerd Nation. Are you excited for another Dragon Ball Z movie and do you think resurrecting Frieza is a good move for this film? Disney’s Breaking Bad

I would think that taking a serious subject matter like building a meth lab and cooking crystal meth would be almost impossible to put into a children’s song, but I stand corrected. The fine people over at animeme did a masterful job of crossing Breaking Bad with the popular song “Do you want build a Snowman” from the even more popular Disney movie Frozen. Check it out as Walter White narrates in the most harmonious of ways his desire to build a meth lab with his partner Jesse Pinkman.
