New Batmobile Revealed

There has been a lot of “leaked” photos coming from the closed set of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice which isn’t due out until 2016. We know that for the first time ever we will see two of the most iconic super heroes in history team up on the big screen. It is a shame we have to wait more than a year to see Ben Affleck and Henry Cavil put on the capes and decimate evil. However, in 2014 we are already getting our first look at Batfleck’s new ride. Again these are “leaked” images so the quality and detail aren’t that great, but I’m sure that DC will have an official follow up image out within the next week or so. I have to admit that I already like this look for the batmobile better than the “tumbler” that came from Christopher Nolan’s batman movies. That thing was so huge and ugly. Batman has always had a fairly good sense of style, designing the batmobile for both stealth and to strike fear into the hearts of criminals. Obviously this looks like an unfinished version of the batmobile seeing as how it’s missing it’s stealthy black paint job, but I already like it a lot.

Now for those of you that are keeping up with the next installment of the Arkham games, you might notice some similarities between this batmobile and the one we’ve been seeing in the Batman: Arkham Knight trailers. I don’t know about you guys, but to me it looks almost exactly like it. Right down to the way the 4 wheels are positioned and how it archs up in the middle. Still, there are some visual differences but you can definitely tell that this design and the one for Batman: Arkham Knight look way to similar to just be a coincidence. Like I said though, I actually really like the look of this one and I’m glad to see that they moved away from the bulky tank look for the Batmobile.

Like always, I want to know your thoughts on this Nerd Nation. Do you like the look of the New Batmobile for Batman vs Superman or do you think they should have gone with a different design? Let me know your thoughts by leaving them in a comment below, on the trusty Facebook page, or the Twitter.
