Deadpool Movie Confirmed

So it’s finally happening. After all these years of waiting and hoping that 20th Century Fox could pull their head out of their ass long enough to give us fans what we’ve been asking for, since the horrid tragedy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It’s finally been made official. We’re getting a Deadpool movie. It’s been made so official in fact that Fox has actually given us a tentative release date for the Deadpool Movie. Finally the Merc with a mouth is coming to the big screen and actually a bit sooner than I would have expected. Honestly, I’m surprised they didn’t wait for a big summer block buster release date.

Fox announced today that we can expect the Deadpool movie to hit theaters on February 12, 2016. Just in time to take the love of your life to see one of the most Bad Ass Marvel characters tear some shit up! I don’t know about you guys, but I am pretty excited about this. So far there is no word on weather or not Ryan Reynolds is still lined up for the role of Wade Wilson, or if The Deadpool movie will be rated R or PG-13. One can only hope that if the pressure from fans can get this movie made then hopefully it can get it made right as well.

Also, no details on the plot were given, but we do know that the project is going to be be directed by Tim Miller and that the screen play will be written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (from Zombieland). Like I said, I am super excited for this announcement, but as always I want to know what you think Nerd Nation. Are you excited to finally be getting a Deadpool movie and do you think Ryan Reynolds should still play the chimichanga loving Merc with a Mouth? Let me know your thoughts in a comment below, on the Facebook page, or hit me up on the Twitter page.
