Halloween Costume Reveals New Ninja Turtle’s Look

So far we don’t have anything official to look at when it come to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle reboot. However, there is a picture going around that could possibly be what one of the turtles might actually look like. Earlier this month there were some toy descriptions floating around that were none too impressive. Once again, I don’t deal in rumors too often but I just have this terrible feeling that these are actually true. For this I am “hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.” Again this is not confirmed to be true, just the latest “news” to be posted.

Apparently an unspecified costume company accidentally leaked their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line of costumes for 2014, and TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles.com got a hold of it. They have opted not to release all the images at once (It takes a while to photoshop fake pictures) but have given us our first glimpse at one of the Turtle costumes. The picture below is of Michelangelo and all I can say is Dear God, please don’t let this be real.

The thing that makes me somewhat believe that this might be real is because it sort of fits the description of one of the toys that was released earlier.

“Michelangelo has the simplest costume, with a hoodie wrapped around his waist, pants, sneakers with the toes cut out, wrappings on his hands and forearms, a necklace and mask straps that hang down to his chest.”

“IF” this is true then the new TMNT movie has been officially ruined. I mean Mikey looks like he’s wearing damn bicycle shorts, his face looks ridiculous and this is a far cry from the Ninja Turtles that we have come to know and love over the years. Now the reason I somewhat doubt this picture is because it isn’t coming from a very credible source, they will not release all the pictures at once, and the biggest selling costumes are always the deluxe ones with the foam muscles. This one looks pretty cheap.

I don’t know if this picture is real or not, but I really hope that it isn’t. As always I want to know what you think. Do you think this is really how the Turtles will look and if so are you a fan? Leave me your thoughts in a comment below or on the Facebook page.

The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC Trailer (Video)

We’ve been hearing about this DLC for The Last of Us for a while now. All we knew about it was that it would be called “Left Behind” and even now that they have released the trailer, there isn’t much else that is being said. Well fear not Nerd Nation because we have a detailed description and a price to go along with that.

Taken from TheLastofUsWikia.com

“Ellie returns as new light is shed on her relationship with Riley, her best friend from the military boarding school they both grew up in. After inexplicably disappearing for weeks, Riley reemerges in Ellie’s life with a surprising revelation. The two sneak out of their school for the last time, leading to a series of events that will forever change both of their lives.”
― Naughty Dog’s summary of the game.

Left Behind is the upcoming single-player DLC of The Last of Us. It will launch at $14.99 and is a prequel to the story of The Last of Us. It is scheduled for release on February 14, 2014, and will feature the story of Ellie and Riley as they try to survive in the apocalyptic world. Throughout the entirety of the DLC, the player will have control over Ellie.

Unfortunately only being able to control Ellie and not having Joel in this makes the upcoming DLC less interesting to me. I personally think that prequels should be avoided in most instances with certain exceptions. However, Naughty Dog did such an amazing job with this game that they might surprise us once again. So check out the trailer below for The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC and leave me your thoughts in a comment below or on the Facebook page.

TF Cosplay of The Day

Cosplay of The Day! Check out Optimus and RC at what looks like a transformers movie premiere. Those look like lights on Optimus but I think those parts are just reflective and reacting to the camera flashes. Either way they both look awesome!
