Child’s Play Prank (Video)

Lately some of these pranks that have been going viral are pretty creative and elaborate. This prank was done to promote the release of “The Curse of Chucky” movie on the Brazilian hidden camera show The Silvio Santos Program. As you will see in the video their crew dressed up a little person as Chucky and hid him inside a fake bus stop ad. They waited for unsuspecting victims to sit down at said bus stop and then the fun began. Most of these are pretty funny, but I always have a hard time laughing when little kids get scared like that. I try to put myself in the situation as a parent and that little guy dressed as Chucky is lucky he didn’t get himself pepper sprayed or tazerd  by one of those moms.

I mean it’s hard to tell how you would react when something like that jumps out and starts chasing after you, but I tend to get a little violent when I think my life is in danger. Anyways, check out this video of people getting the shit scared out of them by Chucky himself and let us know your thoughts. Do you think you would be scared and would you laugh it off after you found out that it was just a prank? Leave us a comment below or on our Facebook page.

Jabba an Leia

Someone should have warned him the she was going to be the death of him…But i still don’t blame him for trying 😉

Brian Griffin’s Death (Video)

I’m sure by now most of you have heard about the untimely death of one of TV’s beloved characters Brian Griffin. However, if you’re like me you were probably watching the Denver, New England game and missed what happened. Fear not because we have a video clip of his last moments on Family guy including what caused is death and his last words to the Griffin family. Now, I know there has been a lot of controversy with this decision by Seth MacFarlane but I have a feeling Brian is not gone forever.

Honestly the show’s entire dynamic really hinges on the relationship with Brian and Stewie. Not to mention Brian seems to be the glue that holds the entire family together. Besides that, Seth Macfarlane has no real reason to kill of Brian. He wasn’t an unpopular character though the show’s ratings may have gone down as a whole lately. The most interesting bit of news is that Tony Sirico who plays the voice of the Griffin’s new dog Vinny has only been signed for 6 episodes, with a stipulation that he may be written in for more or even a recurring role later on.This could possibly be because Vinny’s stay could be a short one and Brian might be written back in.

Only time will tell if this is really the end of Brian Griffin and if Vinny will be a good replacement for him. Right now it seems as though Seth MacFarlane is some what testing the waters to see what the fans reactions will be. I personally think he will bring Brian back in some form or another but a lot of people really believe he is gone forever. There is even a petition that has been started to “Bring Brian Back” that has over 50,000 supporters. As always we want to know what you think. Do you think Brian is gone for good or do you think he’ll be back sometime in the future. Leave us a comment below or on our Facebook page.

New Optimus Prime

The above cover of Empire Magazine gives us our first real look at the New and “Improved” Optimus Prime. I didn’t think it was possible but some how Michael Bay was actually able to make Optimus Prime look even worse in his new movie. I’ve always been of the mindset that when watching a Hollywood recreation of our favorite comic book or animated heroes that we should keep an open mind. Of course it’s not going to look exactly like the source material, but this is pretty much just a slap in the face to the original creators of Optimus Prime.

Optimus From First Films

He had such a classic look and design that (in my opinion) still stands the test of time. To me this doesn’t even look anything like Optimus Prime. Even the old look from Michael Bay’s first 3 films had a little bit of the G1 Prime in there, but now it’s practically all gone. Needless to say I am not a fan of his new look and only time will tell what the rest of the Autobots and Dinobots will look like in their robot mode. As far as the design aspect of him just being a robot I think he looks cool, just not as the leader of the Autobots.

Which leads me to the famous question; What are your thoughts Nerd Nation? Do you like this new look for Optimus Prime or would you have liked to see something a little more reminiscent of his original animated look? Let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below or on our Facebook page.

Cosplay of The Day

Cosplay of The Day! This little Goku’s got it goin on. I don’t know about you but just getting that little guy to sit still to do his hair like that is a feat in it’s self. I’m pretty sure my son would have never held still long enough for me to do that…He would have had to be Krillin 🙂

History of The Goomba (Video)

I don’t any of us have ever really given much thought to the lowly Goomba from the Super Mario Brothers games, but would any of those games be the same without them? Well believe it or not the Goomba almost didn’t happen. I think the Goomba is a perfect example of how a peripheral character made just the right impact to not be distracting but was influential enough that we couldn’t image playing any of those games without them in it.

GameExplain made an awesome video that has a lot of interesting facts about the unsung heroes of the Super Mario world; The Goomba. I’m sure most of us that grew up in the late 80s and early 90s have some very fond memories of Mario and his adventures, but lets take a moment to appreciate one of the simple enemies that made and continue to make the Mario games so great! i think it’s important to learn about where we came from whenever we have the chance so that we can appreciate where we are now.

Busted!

It’s Thanksgiving week and hopefully a short week as well for everyone. Today I am Thankful I am NOT Sonic! Happy Monday Nerd Nation!!!
