The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Teaser

This game teaser has to be footage from the 3DS version. Based off this trailer, I can’t even imagine how this thing could be for anything else. That being said, I don’t know how a cheap Spider-Man game seemed like a good idea in the first place. Here is the info and description listed for the video that was posted on Machinima.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, players once again assume the role of the iconic Super Hero in a unique side-story inspired by the feature film but set in its own continuity.

I seriously hope this isn’t all we’re getting for the web head as far as games go or that this is a sign of things to come for the movie. Anyways check out this teaser trailer for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game set to come out next year. Let us know your thoughts…

Friday The 13th Found Footage Movie

It’s been 4 years since the Friday the 13th reboot was released into theaters. The movie made $40 million on its opening weekend and I think most of us assumed that they would start pumping out sequels every year for the next 10 years after that. However, that obviously hasn’t been the case but over the summer Paramount Pictures acquired the rights to the Friday The 13th property. There have been rumors as of late as to what the next installment to the long running franchise will be, and horror journalist Ryan Turek of Shock Till You Drop reports that producers are actively seeking new ideas for a sequel.

In case you aren’t familiar with what found footage style movies are, just think of Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project.

Obviously this isn’t set in stone but I actually think that a found footage style movie could be a fresh and much needed change for the horror franchise. I know that found footage movies seem to have been over done lately, but I would definitely be interested in seeing it done for such an iconic character as Jason Voorhees. The Friday the 13th films aren’t known for their realism. In fact part of their “charm” are the cheap thrills and unique ways Jason kills his victims. It’s hard to say if a found footage style movie would still be able to capture a similar feel that fans of the series have come to know and love.

So what are your thoughts on this Nerd Nation? Do you think they should even be making another Friday the 13th film and if so does a found footage style of movie sound interesting to you? Lets us know your thoughts by leaving us a comment below or on our Facebook page.
