Cosplay of The Day

Master Roshi looking chill as ever. This is obviously pretty simple but still looks awesome. Click the image to enlarge it.

Time Lapsed Skrim Helmet Build

I’ve actually just started playing Skyrim again after quite a few months of not playing it, but that game is like an old friend who is always there when you need them. This is a pretty cool time lapsed video of a guy making an awesome Skyrim helmet, though I think I’ve only seen this helmet in the game with the horns curved downward. It looks cool the way he made it though and he makes it looks super easy, but I honestly can’t even imagine how much skill that actually takes to do. The music is awesome and really gets the creative juices flowing.

Anyways for those Skyrim fans out there I’m sure you’ll like this guys video and his work. I think this is the only Skyrim armor that he’s made or at least featured on his YouTube channel but to see more of his work check out Volpin Props. And as always…

Batman: Arkham Origins Multiplayer

I think this is definitely a case of a game that doesn’t need multiplayer other than possibly coop. I’m not really impressed with the concept here. I can see how they tried to be a little more innovative with their idea for multiplayer but I’m not sure what the objective is other than domination. I’m sure they’ll have a small variety of multiplayer modes to choose from but I think they could have left it out. Sometimes these kind of things worry me because they took time to focus on something that wasn’t need at the expense of something everyone buys the game for and that is the single player experience. I think the worst part about this is, like I said, the one thing that might be fun is coop and I doubt they will even put that in. I think it would be fun to play with a friend online, one as Robin and one as Batman, in different parts of Gotham and meeting up to take on a boss or to clear an area.

The other important thing to note in this video is that Bane and Robin will both be playable characters. We did know about the Joker though the story isn’t centered around him this time. I hope Robin can be used in the single player campaign and I wonder if Bane is in there in some form or fashion as well. I’m not too sure about Robin’s armored look, but I understand that its an origin story so it makes sense that their suits aren’t as evolved as they would be in the previous Arkham games. I do however like the look of Bane much better than the previous Arkham games. He looks a lot more true to his comic book form and still very menacing.

Anyways, tell us what you think about the first look at Batman: Arkham Origins multiplayer. Are you glad to see they put it in this time around or do you think they should have left it out and focused more on the single player experience. Cosplay of The Day

This is a seriously epic Tron Bonne cosplay. Looks like a ton of work went into this costume and it turned out pretty Bad Ass…and for those of you that don’t know her by name she might look familiar from a little game called Mega Man Legends and even Marvel vs Capcom!

X-Men Days of Future Past Official Viral Video

Watch The Video First!

Here we get a closer look at the Sentinel that will be featured in X-Men Days of Future Past…I hate to be an angry fan boy but I don’t think I like the new look of this thing. We finally get to see our favorite X-Men fight the giant Sentinel on the big screen and it looks like some sort of purple toy robot.  I was skeptical when I saw the picture of the head at Comic Con last week and it still looks just as bad. I can’t believe that the creators weren’t inspired to do something a little better even after seeing the giant hulking mechs from Pacific Rim. I mean even the sentinel head in X-Men last Stand looked better than this piece of crap.

I guess it remains to be seen what the whole thing will look like and if it can actually be a believable threat to the X-Men. As always let us know your thoughts and first impression of the new Sentinel look. Leave us your comments below or on our Facebook Page!

New Prices for Xbox One Accessories

Once again Microsoft doesn’t seem to be too concerned with winning any popularity contests for their next gen game console that hasn’t even been released yet. Yesterday they announced that the price for an Xbox One wireless controller will cost you $59.99 which is $10.00 more than the current Xbox 360 controller. It will run off 2 AA batteries like it’s predecessor, but if you wanted the recharge pack that will run you an additional $24.99. Xbox has said that only one controller will come packaged with the Xbox One which is pretty standard for gaming consoles.

However, I think the most annoying news is that the gaming headset will not be bundled with the Xbox One console but instead will be sold separately at $24.99. Microsoft has said that the decision to not bundle the head set with the console was because the Xbox Connect has it’s own microphone capable of voice chat. The only problem with that Microsoft is that now everyone in the room has to hear the 13 year old on the other end dropping F bombs every 5 seconds and the voices are never as loud as the rest of the game through regular speakers…but thanks for thinking of us.

Microsoft has also said, that they would be developing an adapter for universal headsets sometime in the future but you can bet your Sweet Ass that it’s gonna cost you a pretty penny. So not only is their console priced at $500.00 but if you want another “complete” controller and head set then that’s gonna cost you another $110. Even if you decide not to get the recharge kit you’re still looking at an extra $75.00 on top of your $500.00 console. honestly I can’t say I’m super excited about this news as Microsoft continues on their not so consumer friendly path.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on this Nerd Nation? Does this price jump bother you or were you expecting prices to go up with the next gen consoles? Let us know your thoughts below or in the comments section of our Facebook Page!

Future First Person Shooter

Hey guys check out this first person shooter video that was put together by Freddie W. This guy’s got some talent and the effects and sounds of the weapons are way better than other videos I’ve seen like this. Plus, there’s just something cool about a home made first person shooter video. You can tell these guys play a lot of FPS games since they have all the familiar kills and frustrating deaths that show up in these games.

Anyways, check out the video Future First Person Shooter and as always…

Happy Monday!

Played a little Black Ops over the weekend after not playing it for a few months and I was quickly reminded of how true this is…Bull Sh*t!!!
