StarWars Episode 7 Director

I’ve done my best to stay out of the Starwars rumors but this one seems to be pretty legit. According to MTV.com J.J. Abrams is apparently set to direct the next installment of the famous franchise. J.J. Abrams is a Nerd’s dream come true producing such films and TV shows as Star Trek, CloverField, Alias, and of course Lost.

(From MTV.com)
“Star Trek” filmmaker J.J. Abrams is Disney’s choice to helm “Star Wars: Episode VII,” according to reports published by TheWrap.com and Deadline.com. MTV News has confirmed the report with a source close to the production.

So what’s up Nerd Nation? Is this exciting news or do you think that J.J. Abrams was a bad choice?
